Making (the) Movement
Saturday April 8th

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Making (the) Movement is a festival promoting art as a means to celebrate and build community, and inspire socially conscious action. Proceeds will be donated to The Awakenings Foundation, Rape Victims Advocates, and Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation.

On Saturday April 8th, Making (the) Movement will include a family-friendly afternoon of interactive arts projects, a movement meditation workshop, Art (is) Activism benefit performance (18+), and two performances of One Minute Dances

All ages welcome!

2:00-4:00pm: Community Craft Afternoon
3:00pm: Muffy Fishbasket ‘n Her Goodtime Galz presenting Story Time with Drag Queens
4:00-5:00pm: Movement Meditation Workshop
6:00-7:00pm: One Minute Dances

Ages 18+

7:30-9:30pm: Art (is) Activism Benefit Performance
10:00-11:00pm: One Minute Dances

Music and socialization between with donation bar sponsored by CH Distillery

Proceeds Benefit: Awakenings Foundation, Rape Victims Advocates and Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation
